And with that we see the end of the Ballon d'Or but what a night it was we saw Lionel Messi pick up his seventh making him the only man in history to ever reach such a number, Robert Lewandowski winning striker of the year which was an award created to compensate the 2020 ceremony which was cancelled due to COVID which many people felt was his year to win it, unfortunately upsets happen and that's just how the game goes and there is also next year which I hope you all will follow when it comes around.
