Introduction

 

Hello and welcome to my blog where I will be 'Live Reporting' coverage of this years Ballon d'Or, the most popular sporting award ceremony across the entire world. The ceremony will be taking place on the 29th November and will result in the crowning of the best male and female players in the throughout the current footballing calendar year. 

Not only will I be following the event as it happens but I will also cover the achievements won throughout the year by footballers on the shortlist as well as public opinion on who they believe should be recognized as best footballer of 2021.

The likes of Lionel Messi will hope to add a seventh award to his esteemed collection but he will also be going up against Robert Lewandowski who broke countless records this year as well as Jorginho who won the European double and many other faces too
